Cart Cutter is run by a small team of former restaurant cooks, spreadsheet hobbyists, and people who have absolutely blown a grocery budget and documented why. We don't take free products from grocery chains or app developers, and we don't run affiliate links to meal-kit services. Our only revenue is reader subscriptions and occasional commissioned deep-dives.
Every system we publish gets tested for at least four weeks in at least two different household configurations—single shopper, couple, family with young kids—before it earns a byline. We track actual receipts, note where the template failed, and revise. If a method requires more than 20 minutes of weekly maintenance, we flag it as high-friction and suggest alternatives.
